Crock-Pot SCCPVL610-S Programmable Cook and Carry Oval Slow Cooker Review

Crock Pots Are So Simple

Easy to use and simple, are two traits that I always love to see incorporated within a crock pot, as they’re supposed to save you time and money while preparing your meals. Whenever you’ve got to worry about all three meals of the day, it’s going to have some sort of impact on the way you live your life. If you’ve got to take an hour or two every single day to make meals, it’s going to turn into quite a long process. It’s something that you can cut back on with ease, all you’ve really got to do is get yourself the right crock pot.

How Do I Use It?

Crock pots are really simple, the only thing that you’ve got to worry about is pressing a button. With one press of a button, you’ll be slow cooking all kinds of delicious foods – as well as prepare may other types of things that have to do with food. You can even make yogurt through the use of a slow cooker, although it might not be the most practical thing to do. Just toss your food in, throw the top on and set everything to cook – you should have a very delicious plate in a couple of hours.

Crock Pot Features

You’ve got 6 quarts of capacity to use with this crock pot, and that’s great when you’re looking to serve a meal to 7 or more people. It’s also capable on handling up to 6 pounds of roast, and the easy to use locking lid means that no heat or steam will ever be able to work its way out of the cracks. There’s a programmable digital setting that will have you cooking with specific types of times, and the oval stoneware can actually be removed to fit your preferred style. There are 2450 watts of usable wattage here, and you can cook all the way from 30 minutes up to 20 hours.

My Pro’s & Con’s

The only real problem I could figure out with this crock pot would be the fact that the keep warm setting didn’t work as well as I had hoped. I thought that all of my food would be perfectly warm when I got to it, but on more than one occasion it was a little cold (not completely, though).

The pro’s are clear cut, there is 6 quarts of space, and you’ll never need to wonder whether there is a leak in the process or not. 240 watts is a lot of power, and will make sure that all of your crock pot needs are met with the right solution.

Regardless of what you think, this is an amazing crock pot. Plenty of people haven’t even tried a crock pot for themselves, which just goes to show how much they’re forgotten about. Slow Cookers Heaven can tell you a little more about what’s needed in the “perfect” crock pot.
